The 2017 Impreza has been completely redesigned from the bottom up and will be the first Subaru to feature the new platform. This platform improves handling, safety, performance, ride quality, and much more. The pre-owned 2017 Impreza is also longer and wider to provide a more spacious cabin, and it features a larger wheel base for an even smoother drive. Still available in 4- and 5-door body styles, the 2017 Impreza features a new exterior design including hawk-eye headlights, a more sculpted body, and an updated grille. Trim levels still include the base level, Premium, an updated Sport level, and Limited, and are expected to offer many similar features as previous years but with updates including Starlink 8-inch touch screens, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, an available Harman Kardon premium sound system, Near Field Communication systems, and much more.

The Continuously Variable Transmission now features an available 7-speed manual mode with steering wheel paddle shifters on upper trim levels. An improved suspension system and an even lower center of gravity provide better ride quality and even better accident avoidance capabilities.
