Mike Shaw Subaru Shares the Love with Children's Hospital Colorado
In March, we
celebrated the results of the seventh annual and most successful Subaru "Share
the Love Event" in Subaru's History! In November 2014, Mike Shaw Subaru chose
Children's Hospital Colorado as our "Hometown Charity."
We would like to announce that we were able to present The Pediatric Neuro-Oncology Program at Children's Hospital Colorado with a check for $31,260. Thanks to everyone who participated in this event as it wouldn't have been possible without you!

Mike Shaw Subaru Shares the Love with University of Colorado Cancer Center
In February, we celebrated
Subaru's annual Share the Love Event which has raised over $35 million
dollars to date. This year, we had the privilege to partner with a local
charity of our choice, and include them as one of the benefactors. Selecting a
local charity was an easy process for our General Manager Dominic, a recent
cancer survivor.  He was diagnosed with a poor prognosis at a late
stage and is now cancer free. He believes the hard work and
dedication of Dr. Lam, Dr. Maroni and Jill Snyder is an integral reason he is
here today.
What an honor it was for us to be able to present the University of Colorado Cancer Center with a check for $11,666.

Mike Shaw Subaru-Colorado's 1st Eco-Friendly Subaru Dealer
Mike Shaw Subaru is making an extra effort to go above and
beyond when it comes to taking care of the environment. Â Through the
Subaru Eco-Friendly Dealer program, Mike Shaw Subaru is now the first Subaru
dealership in the Denver area to become a Certified Eco-Friendly Dealership.
Clean Burn is a special type of furnace that efficiently recycles and burns used oil from cars, trucks and heavy equipment to heat spaces and water. Clean Burn provides Mike Shaw Subaru with an eco-friendly way to dispose of used oil and heat our shop area. Â Colorado winters can make the shop pretty cold and heating the area can greatly increase our energy usage. Â Used oil waste can be a burden and damage our environment if not handled properly. With the Clean Burn system, Mike Shaw Subaru is able to take our environmental stewardship to the next level.
How does this apply to you? When you bring your Denver Subaru or used car in for an oil change, Mike Shaw Subaru uses the waste oil to heat the shop and detail bay where our wonderful Subaru Certified Technicians and lot techs work to keep your Subaru in tip-top shape!
