What the service covers on the 2024 Subaru BRZ
The oil change service begins with draining the engine oil and refilling the 2024 Subaru BRZ with the oil grade specified for its engine. A new oil filter is installed to support clean oil circulation, and the oil life monitor is reset so the maintenance reminder reflects the completed visit. Underhood fluid levels are also checked as part of the service.
Engine oil gradually loses its additive package and its ability to carry heat and debris, even when it does not look dirty. That is why mileage and time-based maintenance matter. The matching 2023 and 2025 model schedules call for an oil filter replacement every 6,000 miles and an engine oil change every 6,000 miles.
An oil-change reminder light, mileage beyond the last service, dark or low oil on the dipstick, or a ticking or louder engine note at startup can indicate that service is due. Drivers can schedule service with Mike Shaw Subaru.
